There are only a few weeks left of summer on the outer banks. The days will once again shorten and the busy traffic will wind down. fall on the Outer Banks is the best season to be here! The extreme heat has come and gone, the water is still warm, the sunset times up with your dinner reservations, and recreational activities are still in full swing. - Visit the pumpkin patch at Island Farm
Attend the Seafood festival on October 15
- Take a trip to the Wright Brothers Memorial
Fish all 5 piers from Kitty Hawk to Nags Head

Attend Outer Banks Brewtag, a celebration of beer and flight on October 22nd
- Play a few rounds of golf at Kilmarlic Golf Club in currituck County
- Go Black Friday Shopping at Kitty Hawk kites for the best deals on the beach
Visit the OBX Distillery and try some fall-inspired rum flavors
- Take a day trip to Ocracoke and be sure to keep an eye out to see which North Carolina College your ferry is themed after!
