kitty hawk Kites' 7th Annual Kite festival Set for Saturday and Sunday
September 22, 2015 – Join Kitty Hawk Kites and the Emerald Coast Kitefliers Club this Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27 for the 7th Annual flying High on the Harbor Kite Festival from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Destin's picturesque Norriego Point.
In addition to the 25-to-100-foot larger-than-life show kites that will be on display, this free two-day event features professional stunt kite flying, kite demonstrations and lessons, and a few candy drops (from kites) that will sweeten the weekend for the kiddos! Kite enthusiasts of all ages are invited to experience and learn from several professional kite fliers.
Festival attendees will be offered FREE shuttle boat service from the HarborWalk Village docks behind Pirates Alley across to Norriego Point on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27. Shuttles will run every 30 minutes from 10am and 4pm. The Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village will also be hosting a fireworks show on September 26 at 9pm!
kitty hawk kites locations in Destin and Ft. Walton beach will be offering a special 2 for $30 kite sale from September 21-27 to help fill the Norriego Point sky during the festival. In addition, all customers who purchase a kite during the week of the festival will receive a FREE kitty hawk kites kite bag!
