Meet the Dolphins of the Outer Banks

There are many centers here on the . One that we work closely with is the Outer Banks Center for Dolphin Research (OBCDR). OBCDR promotes the and research of Bottlenose Dolphins along the Outer Banks of . Currently they are focusing on the seasonal abundance and moving patterns of the species. OBCDR has come to recognize specific dolphins that populate our waters during the summer season. Onion, Fatlip, Sinatra, Rake, Sequoia, Jack, Wendy, and FB708 are just some of the dolphins that come back year after year and have a special place in the hearts of our staff.
