Springtime Is Fun Time at

The Taste of the Beach just wrapped up and now everyone takes a deep breath and gets ready for the next big springtime event, which is Easter. For  that means the Eggstravagaza Easter Egg hunt and perfect winds for a kite.

Now that spring is officially here, the days are starting to get a bit longer, the weather is moderating and here at Kitty Hawk Kites we're able to offer more classes and somewhat better conditions than is often found during the winter months.

The springtime winds are perfect for the sports we offer, especially hang gliding and . Classes tend to be a bit smaller at this time of the year giving participants a chance to get to know the instructors a little better.

Kitty Hawk Kites has been a leader in wind sport instruction since it was founded 41 years ago as a . The school is the oldest continually operating school in the United States and the largest in the world—we've taught over 400,000 people to fly.

We do have a great hang gliding event coming up—the 2015 Annual Hang Gliding Spectacular May 15th through May 18th. This is the oldest anywhere (43 years to be exact!) and the skills the pilots show as they navigate a course on the of Jockey's Ridge Sate Park is astonishing to see.
